The Tasting Room Host & Tour Guide will be the first point of contact for guests visiting Philadelphia Distilling. This position will check guests in for tours, tastings, cocktail classes, and events, while also leading them on engaging and educational tours of the production facility. The Host & Tour Guide will bring our story to life — from the history of distilling in Philadelphia to the unique characteristics of our spirits — and help guests experience our brand firsthand.

How You Will Spend Your Time?
- Greet and check in guests for reservations, tastings, and events using the booking system
- Conduct engaging tours of the distillery, sharing process, history, and the stories behind the spirits
- Lead spirit tastings and educate guests on proper tasting techniques and flavor profiles
- Assist with retail operations, including sharing product knowledge and guiding purchase decisions
- Maintain a welcoming, safe, and professional environment throughout the guest experience
- Answer questions about products, the distillery, and surrounding area
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in hospitality
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends, hours and schedule can fluctuate based on tours, events, etc.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Excellent oral communication skills with the ability to talk to others to convey information effectively
- A friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication and storytelling skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality, customer service, and craft spirits
- The ability to lead and manage groups of varying sizes
- Service Orientation – actively looking for ways to help people
- Ability to work in a team and be a self-starter
- Familiarity and appreciation of distilled spirits
