This position will be onsite at the Philadelphia Distilling Company in Philadelphia, PA.
What the Role Is
Philadelphia Distilling is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our kitchen and bar areas, ensuring that all dishware, cookware, and utensils are clean and ready for use.
How You Will Spend Your Time?
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area.
- Assist in cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and bar workspaces, including floors, counters, and equipment.
- Properly handle and store cleaning supplies and chemicals.
- Remove trash and recyclables from designated areas and assist with waste management as needed.
- Support kitchen and bar staff by restocking clean items as required.
- Report any maintenance or operational issues to management.
- All other duties as required
Who You Are…
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
While performing duties of job, employee is required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
