Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and mixing of ingredients following standardized recipes and safety protocols
- Prepare ice cream bases following standardized recipes
- Wash, cut, and prepare fresh fruits and ingredients
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely
- Pull ice cream from production machines and package finished products
- Monitor product consistency and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized production kitchen
- Assist with inventory and ingredient preparation
- Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Support new product development when needed
Requirements
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen, bakery, commissary, or food production environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Able to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Food safety knowledge is a plus
- Experience with high-volume food production is strongly preferred
