We are currently seeking an RN for our Assisted Living Unit.
Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administer medications, provide vaccinations and render treatment to geriatric patients
- Communicate with physicians, LPNs, radiologists and other medical professionals
- Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient
- Plans effective administration of assigned unit
- Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed
- Admits, transfers, and/or discharges residents
- Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their parents or guardians
- Track and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff members
- Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment
- Registered Nurse (RN) skills and requirements:
- Valid nursing license in the state of New Jersey
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holding a valid license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
Successful completion of one (1) year experience in a long term care facility preferred
Have a knowledge of federal and state standards relating to documentation and resident assessment
Have an understanding of, an affection for, and a desire to work with the elderly.
Be able to set priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Full Time or PD
Full Time: $40 - $42
PD: $45 per hour

Salary : $40 - $45
