Heath Village is looking for a Part Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
PTA responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Responsible for providing patients with Physical Therapy services upon the direction of the attending physician and under direct supervision of a Physical Therapist. Provides a patient with treatment; implementation of plan/ and appropriate documentation.
- Provides physical therapy services to address current treatment plan and goals in order to achieve desired outcomes.
- Monitors patient response to treatment/intervention and customizes plan in order to attain desired outcomes in accordance with direct PT supervision and orders of attending physician
- Schedules patients/residents for programming in accordance with fellow team members.
- Communicates PT rehabilitation program plans to resident, family, and other team members via team meetings, individual conferences, utilization review, and other means of communication.
PT Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
- Certification examination for PTA
