Our welders start at $20-$25/hr depending on experience and the scale currently goes to $30.81- so if opportunity is what you want, that is what you will get at JCI!
As a welder/fabricator you will:
- Cut and prepare surfaces or components, lay out, position, fit, tack, weld, and finish a variety of parts or products following prescribed methods and specifications
- Handle and position heavy components using an overhead crane, clamps, jigs, and fixtures.
- Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions.
- Other duties as assigned
Successful candidates should have a High school diploma. Must be able to pass JCI weld test. Must be able to read, analyze and interpret detail drawings. Experience in forklift, overhead crane and rigging is required.
