Job Duties
- Supervise machining and sheet metal fabrication related operations. Monitor employee performance and address disciplinary issues.
- Responsible for product quality, workmanship and methods applications and production schedules consistent with manufacturing objectives.
- Anticipate production problems, material shortages, malfunctions and implement procedures to offset loss of schedule interruptions.
- Diagnose tooling and equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or replacement.
- Supervise housekeeping and be alert for hazardous conditions along with the Safety Manager.
- High school graduate or a vocational school graduate.
- Reading blueprints is a must.
- Requires hands on experience with CNC machining operations.
- CNC programing skills are desired.
- Two years minimum PRODUCTION OR MANUFACTURING SUPERVISORY experience.
- Experience in Laser cutting, bending and forming sheet metal a plus.
