What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Heat and Control, Inc.?
Job Responsibilities
- Utilize gauging, CMM, or other technical equipment to complete first article, in-process, incoming, and final inspections.
- Initiate NCM’s and CAR’s, following through to resolution.
- Identify and resolve inspection and quality-related concerns.
- Document and maintain inspection, calibration, and pre-delivery inspection (PDI) results.
Experience and Qualifications
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) designation beneficial.
- Minimum High School Diploma, post-secondary or trade schooling beneficial.
- 3-5 years of prior manufacturing experience minimum.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge in interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experienced in surface-plate inspection techniques or Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
- Experienced in calibration techniques and standards.
