Job Overview
We are seeking 1 full-time counter person or 2 part-time counter people with good attitudes to join our team. Walking into our store is not like walking into a big box store. We like to build relationships with our customers, and we always go the extra mile to find the things our customers are looking for big or small. Heastand Auto Parts Inc. has been in business for a total of 111 years and have been a staple to the community. Previous experience is great but is definitely not a must. Clean driving record is 100% a must due to insurance.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers enthusiastically and assist them in selecting automotive parts, accessories, or industrial supplies with confidence and professionalism
- Have some sort of computer knowledge to be able to look parts up and order them for customers
- Empty garbage cans, sweep, and mop when we are slow at the counter.
- Mix and sell automotive paint
- Clean and stock shelves
- Deliver auto parts when drivers are out delivering
- Answer phones and emails
- Show up on time with a positive attitude ready to work everyday

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
