KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a member of our event crew, you will safely deliver, set up, and take down tents, tables, chairs, lighting, stages, dance floors, and other rental equipment at client sites.
- Interact professionally with clients on-site to ensure their vision comes to life and address any needs.
- Maintain high company standards for quality, presentation, and safety at every event.
- Assist with warehouse tasks including loading/unloading trucks, cleaning, and maintaining equipment as needed.
- Reports to Event Crew Lead.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand and remain physically active for extended periods (several hours at a time).
- Capable of lifting and carrying 50–75 lbs. repeatedly and over distances.
- Primarily outdoor work in all weather conditions during event setups and teardowns - able to handle working a full day outdoors during the summer.
- Occasional indoor warehouse duties for preparation, cleaning, and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Entry-level role; prior event rental experience is a plus but not required.
- High school diploma, GED, or current progress toward one.
- Excellent team player and communicator.
- Strong attention to detail, quick learning ability, and reliable work ethic.
- Basic English reading and speaking skills for safety, communication, and client interaction.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation to reach our warehouse and job sites.
- Must be at least 16 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a background check if required.
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
- Part-time seasonal position: late-April through late-October..
- Hours: Typically 15-30 hours per week; weekly hours vary based on our event calendar — expect more during peak wedding/party season. Weekend and evening hours may be required.
- Location: Warehouse in East Dundee, IL; events throughout the greater Chicagoland area.
- Pay: Competitive starting hourly rate of $18–$21, based on experience (with potential for increases based on performance and reliability).
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
