Door Pre-Finish Production
Location: Murdock, NE
Job Type: Full-Time | Day Shift
We are hiring for a Door Pre-Finish Production position with a well-established building materials company in Murdock, NE. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, woodworking, painting, staining, and working in a shop environment.
In this position, you will be working specifically with interior and exterior doors, preparing and finishing them before they are sent out to customers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prep doors for the finishing process
- Sand and prepare door surfaces
- Apply stain, paint, primer, and other finishes
- Perform touch-ups and make sure each door meets quality standards
- Inspect finished doors for consistency and quality
- Use hand and power tools throughout the process
- Read a tape measure and follow work orders
- Move and handle doors throughout the production process
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
What We're Looking For
- Previous painting, staining, woodworking, carpentry, cabinet, or construction experience is a plus
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Able to read a tape measure
- Good attention to detail
- Dependable and willing to learn
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- No direct door finishing experience required — training is available!
