CDL Class A/B Driver - Volumetric Concrete

Garden State Pavement Solutions is seeking an experienced and reliable CDL Class A Driver to join our team. As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for transporting asphalt and milling material along with equipment to designated destinations safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate various types of trucks and trailers. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle with a Class A or B CDL. Class A is preferred. 
• Transport goods to designated locations while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery schedules, delays, and vehicle issues.
• Follow all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience driving a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission trucks.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for long periods while driving.
• Ability to climb in and out of the truck cabin and trailer.
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific equipment (paving and milling) is a plus.
