Kennel Attendant – Weekend Shift (Friday–Sunday)
Location: Fairfax, IA
We’re looking for a reliable, animal-loving team member to join our kennel for Friday–Sunday shifts. This role is hands-on and active, caring for boarded dogs and helping keep our facility clean and welcoming.
We’d love to find someone who’s a great fit and interested in staying with us long-term if possible.
Available Shifts:
- Friday 7am-2pm & 2-9pm
- Saturday 6:30am-2pm & 2-9pm
- Sunday 6:30am-12pm & 2-9pm
Required to work some holidays
What You’ll Do
- Feed, administer meds, exercise boarding dogs
- Administer medications and monitor health & behavior
- Clean kennels, play areas, and laundry (there is a lot of cleaning)
- Assist with daily kennel operations
- Lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Work certain holidays as part of the team schedule
- Play with dogs
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous animal care experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong work ethic and team-player attitude
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and available for weekends/holidays
