What The Work Actually Looks Like

Let's be straight about it.

Foam is chemistry, and it can turn toxic in a hurry if you don't respect it. You'll work around fumes and hot material under pressure, in gear, paying attention every second. You'll back a 50-foot truck and trailer onto tight residential driveways without scratching $150,000 of equipment or a customer's property. You'll crawl into crawl spaces and basements, run crack injections and wall penetrations, and do the demo and finish work that puts a house back together, including sheetrock clean enough to pass in a Johnson County home. Between jobs, you'll keep the warehouse stocked and the rig maintained, because a stranded crew on a job site costs everyone.

And the part that matters most: a lot of this work is invisible once it's done. No inspector climbs down to check the injection. A family is trusting that whoever did it cared as much about whether it holds as they do.

Who Belongs Here

• Straight with everyone. You tell a customer the truth even when it talks them out of work, and you carry a problem to the person you have it with instead of to everyone else. The number we quote is the number they pay, and you protect that.

• No such thing as "not my job." You see what the work in front of you needs, and you do it. The trailer doesn't care whose name is on the task.

• Find the problem before the customer does. You hear a new noise in the rig, and you stop to find out what it is. You catch the thing while it's still cheap to fix.

• Do the work right. On the gun where no one can see the injection, you read it by sound, feel, and smell, and you test-shoot before a drop goes in the ground. That's the whole job.

• Treat the money like it's yours. You fix what can be fixed instead of replacing it, and you don't waste material. The business only works if it makes money, and a dollar saved reaches the people who earned it.

• Stay teachable. You came to learn a trade, not to defend the way you've always done it. That's the difference between someone who runs this rig in a year and someone who never gets handed the keys.

$20 - $25 hourly

• Back and set up the 50-foot truck and trailer on tight residential sites without damaging the equipment or the property.
• Run the foam rig under supervision toward running it solo — read the pour by sound, feel, and color, and test-shoot before any material goes in the ground.
• Complete crack injections and Zytex wall penetrations that keep the week full between foam jobs.
• Handle demo and finish work, including sheetrock clean enough to pass in a finished home.
• Keep the warehouse stocked and the trucks loaded so no crew starts a day short.
• Stay ahead of rig maintenance — oil, tires, fuel, generator, and compressor — and report a problem before it strands a crew.
• Grow into a foam operator by earning trust on the gun, with zero callbacks.

Required:

• Proven experience towing and backing a truck and trailer (non-negotiable; not trained on the job)

• Pass a DOT physical

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Reliable transportation

• Hands-on work experience: construction, a trade, or equipment

• Able to pass a background check

• Physically capable of crawl-space work and handling heavy equipment

• US work authorization

You do NOT need:

• No foundation or foam experience required; we train you

• No college degree required

• No certifications required up front
