Tech and Media Director

JOB SUMMARY
The Tech & Media Director is a tech savvy individual with adaptable skills in the realm of worship, production, IT, and marketing. An ideal candidate for this role will have great interpersonal and troubleshooting skills. The responsibilities of this role span across 3 key areas resulting in a full-time work week that is split between the areas listed below. The percentages indicate an estimate of where time will likely be spent. We provide training and ongoing professional development for the right person who is motivated to succeed in the position.

IT & INFRASTRUCTURE (30%)

• Oversee and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including WiFi and wired devices
• Assist office staff with tech questions ranging from printer troubleshooting, to file migration between computers
• Stay up to date on technical advancements within the industry and use this knowledge to foresee potential improvements needed, or desired for various systems

AUDIO & VIDEO PRODUCTION (40%)

• Lead weekend service production, striving for a distraction free worship experience both online and in person.
• Collaborate with the Worship Director across volunteer scheduling, service preparation, and special events or projects.
• Prepare and streamline AV systems to help team members to have a low stress and enjoyable experience serving.
• Troubleshoot systems as needed, and follow through with repairs or needed improvements.

MEDIA & MARKETING (30%)

• Work alongside the Communications Coordinator to plan and execute various video projects ranging from event recaps or highlights, to special promos and website content.
• Edit weekly highlight reels and sermon podcast.
• Regularly capture media from weekend and midweek services for use across various communication channels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
