">- As the General Manager, you will lead the Brainerd, Minnesota publication, driving revenue growth and ensuring operational excellence.
- You will foster strong community and business relationships throughout the Brainerd market, leveraging your creativity and drive to develop innovative strategies.
- Your primary focus will be on managing the day-to-day operations of the publication, while providing guidance to team members to meet company goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
">- Direct and manage the comprehensive day-to-day operational activity of the Brainerd Dispatch to ensure achievement of revenue goals and maintenance of expense budgets.
- Provide coaching and guidance to local advertising sales team members to ensure continued success and attainment of revenue targets.
- Cultivate an atmosphere of openness and positive communication, setting the tone for location employees.
- Work closely with Vice President of Advertising and Vice President of Newspapers to align on strategy and prepare annual budgets.
Qualifications:
">- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, plus six to ten years of related experience and/or training.
- Proven history of successful leadership, demonstrating qualities such as visionary, high energy, self-managing, effective communicator, and ability to foster creativity and innovation.
- Ability to identify talent, create and develop teams, and build trust and engagement.
