Campaign Strategist – Patient Marketing
We are seeking a full-time Campaign Strategist to join our Patient Acquisition team. As a strategic architect of our marketing efforts, the Campaign Strategist will be responsible for designing and executing data-driven campaigns that drive patient acquisition and brand engagement across our supported dental offices.
This manager-level role requires a deep understanding of performance marketing, audience segmentation, and omnichannel planning and strategy. The strategist will collaborate cross-functionally with vendors, internal account managers, creative teams, and the Director of Patient Acquisition to ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals and deliver measurable impact.
Heartland Dental is the nation's largest dental support organization, providing non-clinical administrative support services to more than 3,000 supported doctors across 39 states and the District of Columbia in over 1,900 dental offices. Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
- Develop and refine campaign strategies across all paid media channels including Paid Search, Paid Social, Direct Mail, and Lead-Gen/Pay-Per-Call partners
- Lead strategic planning sessions to identify new lead sources and optimize existing ones
- Align campaign initiatives with broader organizational goals and KPIs.
- Design and manage ongoing A/B testing across multiple channels and platforms
- Partner with agencies to oversee campaign execution
- Establish and track performance benchmarks, ensuring campaigns meet or exceed targets
- Translate performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Ensure accountability and alignment across internal and external stakeholders
- Other projects as assigned
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- 5-10 years of experience working in performance marketing, user acquisition, or campaign strategy roles at a large advertiser or advertising agency
- Strong analytical mindset and a passion for driving results through strategic marketing initiatives. Willing and able to create decks/presentations and pull together multiple data sources into spreadsheets and do cleanup/transformation work to analyze problems and results.
- Experience receiving a business problem, translating to tactical action plan, managing execution, and reporting results to multiple teams at different levels in the organization
- Open, positive, and mentally flexible attitude. Willing to both create change and manage through it personally. Enjoys the company of others and explaining complicated topics to people not familiar with them.
- Located in St. Louis or Chicago area. Role is primarily remote with up to 20% travel for quarterly business reviews with partners, planning sessions, and team meetings. Office space is available in West St. Louis County. Team is primarily mid-west based working Central Time. Supervisor located in St. Louis; Several agencies/vendors in Chicago area. Company is Headquartered in Effingham IL.
