We seek applicants for a full-time position to join our Development team. The Associate Director oversees annual giving to the Foundation’s funding priorities, including the constituent relationship management (CRM/Raiser’s Edge) database and donor communications.

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Provide leadership for and manage the operation of annual campaigns, including direct mail solicitation, personal solicitation, and other outreach
- Manage Foundation fundraising events by securing sponsorships, recruiting and managing volunteers, coordinating related committees, and developing budgets
- Serve as the liaison to the Foundation Board and advise various areas of the College on fundraising events
- In coordination with the Foundation Analyst, produce reports and analyze data related to existing and prospective donors
- Support the Executive Director and the Board in other fundraising activities and outreach
- Supervise the Program Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with fundraising administration including database management
- Experience planning special events and/or other fundraising activities
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work inclusively with diverse constituents such as a board of directors, donors, volunteers, and other campus community members
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for Foundation events
- Familiarity with the mission of a community college
- Familiarity with HCC’s district and community leadership
- Familiarity with Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge fundraising software
- Record of securing sponsorship support from corporations and individuals
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of volunteers to meet fundraising goals
