Heartland AEA supports 57 public school districts, 44 accredited nonpublic schools, and 2 charter schools across central Iowa. Our service area includes the Des Moines metro and surrounding communities, serving more than 150,000 students.

What We’re Looking For
Qualified applicants must have completed a physical therapy program, have a current license to practice physical therapy in the State of Iowa and obtain a Statement of Professional Recognition from the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners. Successful candidate will organize and administer the physical therapy component of the educational program for children and youth. Pediatric and/or school experience preferred. Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required.
