Description:
The Early ACCESS Home Intervention Educator partners with families, caregivers, and community providers to support the development and learning of infants and toddlers (birth to age three) eligible for services under IDEA Part C - Early ACCESS. The Early ACCESS Home Intervention Educators will work with a multidisciplinary team through the identification, evaluation, programming, delivery and coordination of Early ACCESS services for infants and toddlers.
Qualifications:
Qualifiied candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in special education, early childhood education, or child development and be appropriately licensed/certified by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners: 1001 - Birth through Grade 3 Inclusive Settings or 262 - PK-K Early Childhood Special Education. Candidates who hold previously issued but still valid Iowa BOEE endorsements that confer authority to teach young children will also be considered. Prefer successful experience in working with young children and families.
