Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for a National Account Manager – Retail to join our Stove Business Unit. We are the nation’s leading manufacturer and supplier of hearth products, including a wide variety of gas, electric, wood and pellet burning fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and accessories. Headquartered in Lakeville, Minnesota, with distribution around the world, our innovative approach is supported by a business unit structure that allows us to develop and market products with a strong focus on customers’ needs. As a National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in owning and expanding strategic partnerships with large, multi‑location national and regional retail organizations. This position exists to unlock the tremendous market power of these partners and drive profitable, sustainable growth within the hearth category.
You will report to the Director, Strategic Accounts, and serve as a leader in executing our national retail strategy for both the Fireplaces and Stoves business units.
To ensure pay transparency, this role is listed with the total target compensation, which includes: base salary and incentive. Please note the incentive component is not capped

Key Responsibilities
- You will be accountable for high‑impact national retail leadership, including:
- Negotiate complex, national‑level contracts with large public and private retail organizations to achieve revenue and margin goals.
- Ensure disciplined execution and compliance with national accounts.
- Develop and execute multi‑year account strategies aligned to both retailer goals and business unit priorities.
- Prioritize, quantify, and communicate growth opportunities to sales and executive leadership.
- Grow and retain national and regional accounts while elevating HHT’s role as a category leader
- Deliver compelling, executive-level presentations, both virtually and in person, to retail leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver against national programs.
- Lead training and enablement programs within major national accounts to elevate product knowledge and performance.
- Own KPI scorecards and forecasting; analyze trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and proactively address risks.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of direct selling experience to national and regional retail organizations
- 5 years in the hearth industry or a closely related field.
- Strong account management and negotiation expertise.
- Proven ability to prioritize high-value sales opportunities effectively.
- Expertise in crafting compelling sales messaging, influencing stakeholders, and closing both tactical and strategic sales.
- Solid financial acumen, including pricing, margin management, and profit modeling.
- Proficiency in sales process management and analytic tools like Salesforce.com and Tableau.
- Experience supporting national retail programs, assortments, and category initiatives.
- Marketing or category management experience.
- Advanced Salesforce.com expertise.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
Salary : $100,000 - $165,000
