EHS Manager

Hearth & Home Technologies is hiring an Environmental Health and Safety Manager in Mount Pleasant, IA. Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership, engagement, and accountability.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve environmental, health, and safety programs to reduce risk and prevent incidents.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations, as well as company policies and standards.
• Provide EHS guidance, training, and support to leaders and team members across the facility.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage workers' compensation and return-to-work programs to support positive outcomes for team members and the organization.
• Partner with operations leaders to drive safety, environmental, and health initiatives across the plant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or other related degrees or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated success leading EHS programs and driving safety performance improvements.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk management, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead projects, influence teams, and drive change across the organization.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CSP, CIH or other relevant EHS certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience supporting environmental compliance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
