Hearth & Home Technologies is hiring an Environmental Health and Safety Manager in Mount Pleasant, IA. Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership, engagement, and accountability.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve environmental, health, and safety programs to reduce risk and prevent incidents.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations, as well as company policies and standards.
- Provide EHS guidance, training, and support to leaders and team members across the facility.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage workers' compensation and return-to-work programs to support positive outcomes for team members and the organization.
- Partner with operations leaders to drive safety, environmental, and health initiatives across the plant.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or other related degrees or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated success leading EHS programs and driving safety performance improvements.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk management, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to lead projects, influence teams, and drive change across the organization.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- CSP, CIH or other relevant EHS certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience supporting environmental compliance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Salary : $90,000 - $112,000
