Experienced Residential Cleaner — 1099 Independent Contractor

Hearth & Home Cleaning LLC is a growing local cleaning company, and we're looking for an experienced residential cleaner to join our contractor team.

Because this position involves working independently in clients' private homes, final candidates must be willing to complete a background check before beginning work.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. We are specifically looking for someone who already has the experience, skills, equipment, and judgment necessary to provide professional residential cleaning services independently.

What We Need

We're looking for someone who:

• Has substantial professional residential cleaning experience
• Has an excellent eye for detail
• Can confidently perform standard, deep, airbnb, and move-in/move-out cleans
• Knows how to properly clean kitchens, bathrooms, floors, fixtures, surfaces, and other common residential areas
• Can walk into a home and recognize what needs attention without being micromanaged
• Works efficiently while maintaining excellent quality
• Has their own professional cleaning supplies and equipment
• Has reliable transportation
• Has broad weekday availability
• Communicates promptly and professionally
• Is comfortable working independently in clients' homes as well as with a team
• Treats clients, their homes, belongings, and pets with care
• Takes commitments seriously and shows up when they say they will

Independent Contractor Details

This is a 1099 contractor position. Contractors are responsible for their own:

• Cleaning supplies and equipment
• Transportation
• Scheduling commitments
• Business expenses
• Taxes and other independent-contractor obligations

Compensation

$20–$25/hour depending on experience and qualifications.

This is a growing position, with the opportunity for additional cleaning assignments as our client base continues to grow.
