What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Mental Health Clinician position at Heart Stone Counseling LLC?
HEART STONE COUNSELING
Full-Time Mental Health Clinician
South Portland, ME · Permanent · $51–$58/session
The Short Version
We're a growing group practice in South Portland with an active referral stream, a real team culture, and offices you'll actually want to spend time in. We're looking for a full-time clinician who wants to do meaningful, creative clinical work — and feel genuinely supported while doing it.
What Makes This Role Different
- A full week of orientation and onboarding before your first client — so you're set up to succeed from day one
- Strong administrative support so you can stay focused on clinical work
- Monthly paid group consultation, individual supervision, and CEU reimbursement that grows each year
- A team that values non-pathologizing, body-based, and expressive approaches — not just talk therapy
- 401(k) with employer match, generous PTO, and a professional headshot from Jen Dean Photography
We're Especially Excited About Clinicians With
• Body image and eating disorder treatment
• Couples and family therapy
• Brainspotting or EMDR
• Expressive arts, somatic, or movement-based modalities
• Mindfulness-based and non-pathologizing frameworks (ACT, IFS, Narrative Therapy)
Not your whole list? That's okay. Bring what you have.
