Responsibilities Include:
- Assist veterinarians with routine appointments, surgeries, and patient care.
- Collect and process diagnostic samples, administer medications, and prepare for surgeries.
- Record detailed patient histories and manage pharmaceutical inventories.
- Take and interpret radiographs, including dental X-rays, and perform ultrasonic dental cleanings.
- Monitor general anesthesia, dress wounds, and assist with procedures like catheterization and ear flushes.
- Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
- Educate clients on preventive care, dental hygiene, nutrition, and more.
- Collaborate with the team to create a positive work environment and assist with onboarding new employees.
- Champion the company brand by promoting services like grooming, daycare, and retail offerings.
What We're Looking For:
- Licensure Required: Veterinary Technician licensure in this state
- Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Client-Centric Focus: Strong communication skills and a passion for building lasting relationships.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 20 lbs. and work in a fast-paced, sometimes emotionally demanding environment.
- Technological Savvy: Interest in using technology to improve veterinary care and client experience.
- Certifications (Preferred): Fear Free and HABRI certification or a willingness to achieve them.
- Collaborative Spirit: Highly adaptable and enthusiastic about team-based patient care.
