Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and chemical agents while following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines.
• Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, towels, and guest clothing with care and efficiency.
• Manage heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, linens, and laundry equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to ensure spotless surfaces throughout the property.
• Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures to ensure consistency in service quality and cleanliness standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests or emergency procedures related to housekeeping or laundry needs.
• Adhere to industrial cleaning standards and custodial best practices to uphold the highest hygiene standards in all areas.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping management with a focus on high standards of cleanliness.
• Knowledge of chemical agent handling and proper use of cleaning supplies in compliance with SDS regulations.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safety as a priority.
• Expertise in floor care techniques such as mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning for various surfaces.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety during unforeseen incidents or hazards.
• Strong custodial experience with industrial cleaning methods suited for large-scale or high-volume environments.
• Excellent organizational skills in hotel housekeeping management to coordinate daily tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
