What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Worker position at Shore Fresh Laundry?
- Pick up laundry from client homes, condominiums, and businesses.
- Sort clothing and linens according to fabric type, color, and care instructions.
- Wash, dry, fold, and package laundry to Shore Fresh standards.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or special care needs.
- Deliver clean laundry back to clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer orders and special requests.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
- Keep vehicle, laundry supplies, and work areas clean and organized.
- Represent the Shore Fresh brand with professionalism and courtesy at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation (company vehicle will may be provided).
- Ability to lift and carry laundry bags up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily routes.
- Experience in laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
