We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant (NA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in our skilled nursing facility. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
We are hiring for dayshift: 7 am to 7 pm and night shift 7 pm to 7 am. Not certified, no worries, we offer in-house CNA class to get you certified.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide support for patients with mobility challenges using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
- Maintain patient hygiene and assist with catheter care as needed.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Support patients with developmental disabilities, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and other specialized needs.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all patients by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Skills
- Experience in critical care, long-term care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical documentation practices is preferred but not required.
