Summary: The Warehouse Team Member plays a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of the warehouse. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks including operating warehouse equipment, processing materials, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and fulfilling other duties as assigned to support the logistics team. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include, but are not limited to the following as other duties may be assigned:
- Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operate warehouse equipment including the baler, forklift, and pallet jack to move, store, and process materials.
- Material Handling: Separate and categorize raw wares and raw textiles according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including sweeping, dusting, and removing debris.
- Baling Operations: Operate the baler to compress and package waste materials in accordance with safety protocols.
- Material Movement: Utilize the forklift and pallet jack to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and potentially onto or off delivery vehicles.
- Inventory Assistance: Assist with inventory counts and ensure accurate record-keeping of materials.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while performing all tasks, promptly reporting any safety concerns or incidents.
- Task Flexibility: Perform other warehouse-related duties as needed and directed by the Logistics Coordinator to support overall warehouse operations.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with the Logistics Coordinator and other team members regarding task completion, potential issues, and workflow.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Effectively complete other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must pass a drug screen. A criminal background check is required.
Minimum Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Experience operating a baler is preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
Education and/or Experience, Technical Skills:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Forklift certification is preferred and any other relevant certifications.
