The Adult Mental Health Administrative Assistant will provide detailed and ongoing administrative support to the Adult Mental Health Program Director, Adult Mental Health Program Manager and the AMH team for all administrative tasks related to the AMH Program at the Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network.

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED (not all inclusive)::
- Provides administrative support including but not limited to collecting data forms, completing financial assessments, completing purchase orders, completing call reminders
- Assist in scheduling consumer appointments;
- Assists in planning meetings for the AMH program;
- Assists Program Director and Program Manager in collecting and analyzing data and reporting data to the state;
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities::
- Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures;
- Skill in using personal computer application software such as, Excel, Word and Outlook;
- Ability to multitask;
- Ability to communicate effectively;
- Ability to work cooperatively as a team member in a fast-paced, deadline-orientated environment.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Must have and maintain a level of general health which permits the performance of job duties.
- Ability to lift up to 15lbs.
- Ability to travel regionally 10%
- One year experience in clerical or administrative support work Preferred.
- Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent.
