What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - Float - Buford/Johns Creek position at Heart and Vascular Care Inc?
We are hiring a Medical Assistant for an exciting opportunity to join our growing team!
This is a float position between Buford (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and Johns Creek (Mon & Fri)
At HVC we invest in you and your career growth by conducting monthly lunch n’ learns, reimbursing certification costs for any job required certifications as well as providing scrubs.

Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM, no nights or weekends
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Full triage
- Taking manual vitals/blood pressure
- EKG's
- Recording and updating patient information
- Chart prep
- Phlebotomy
- Medication refills
- Some travel may sporadically be required between other HVC offices to cover for PTO and sick leave. Mileage is reimbursed when travelling between offices.
Requirements:
- Dependable team player is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- If not already a nationally certified medical assistant, will be required to gain certification within six months of employment. (ex. CMA, CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, NCCT)
