CT Tech - Part Time (4p-8p)

We are hiring a PART TIME CT Tech for an exciting opportunity to join our team!

Monday-Friday with hours typically being 4PM to 8PM. No on call/weekends/major holidays.

This position requires candidates to have 2 years of Cardiovascular CT experience as we are looking for someone to spearhead our new CT program in Alpharetta.

Duties may include but not limited to:

• Verifies physician order and procedure to assure accuracy.
• Utilizes radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Independently operates equipment to complete imaging procedure according to protocol (including placement of IV).
• Reviews patient images prior to transmission to ensure images meet diagnostic quality standards.
• Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and performing notification/remediation as warranted.
• Assists in the facilitation of departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance, etc.).
• Provides top notch customer service and patient care.
• Other related duties as required.

Requirements:

• Dependable team player is a must.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to recognize and respond to urgent/emergent situations per protocols.
• Must be certified in ARRT(R) or NMTCB(CT) and hold an active BLS.
• Always provide exceptional patient care & etiquette
• 2 years of Cardiovascular CT experience
