As an Analyst, Revenue Operations, you’ll transform complex data into clear, actionable intelligence that empowers Sales, Finance, Product, and leadership teams to uncover new opportunities and make smarter decisions.

About Hearst Magazines (Why Us?)

Hearst Magazines’ portfolio of more than 30 iconic brands in the U.S.—including Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper’s BAZAAR, and Popular Mechanics — inspires, entertains, and builds new and bold experiences for an engaged and growing audience across digital, video, social and print, reaching nearly 130 million readers and site visitors each month. With sophisticated content creation, cutting-edge technology, and industry-leading data capabilities, we make media and products that move people across all platforms. We are a global media company that publishes nearly 200 magazine editions and 175 websites around the world—and together, we are shaping what’s next.

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Build, maintain, and distribute regular reporting that delivers a holistic view of inventory, monetization, and advertising performance across the portfolio
  • Evaluate ad product and monetization performance, identifying optimization opportunities that balance user experience and revenue growth
  • Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Product, and leadership teams to deliver insights that inform strategy, prioritization, and decision-making
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews and executive-level presentations
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to QA data, identify gaps, and improve data pipelines and reporting workflows
  • Maintain a deep understanding of key data sources including Salesforce (CRM), AdPoint (OMS), ad server data (GAM), and other relevant platforms
  • Proactively lead analytics-driven projects and processes that enhance transparency across the advertising “pitch to pay” lifecycle

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • Experience analyzing digital advertising, yield, or revenue data in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL, with experience building reports and dashboards
  • Familiarity with digital media analytics and automated buying channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise
  • Ability to move quickly, adapt to change, and prioritize effectively
  • Preferred experience working with Salesforce, ad servers, and order management systems
  • Preferred background partnering with Sales and Finance teams on performance reporting and analysis
  • Preferred advanced degree or equivalent practical experience in business, economics, mathematics, or a related field
  • This role is based in New York City and operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring four days per week in the office.

Benefits (What We Offer)
