What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Audiologist position at HearQuest Audiology Corp?
HearQuest Audiology Corp is seeking a Mobile Audiologist to provide on-site hearing and balance care throughout the Coachella Valley region, from Palm Springs to Indio during regular office hours.
At HearQuest, we expand access to specialized audiology care by bringing services directly to patients in their communities. Through our work with federal and state agencies and our subsidiary practice, Hearing Onsite, we serve seniors and other high-need populations in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, and community-based settings.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations in mobile care settings
- Perform advanced diagnostics, including audiograms, tympanometry, OAE, ABR, and vestibular or balance assessments
- Fit, program, adjust, and troubleshoot hearing aids
- Provide follow-up care and personalized hearing support for geriatric and specialized patient populations
- Collaborate with facility staff and care teams
- Complete accurate clinical documentation for care planning and billing
- Travel locally between facilities and home-based care locations in the service area
What We’re Looking For
- Active California Audiologist (Au.D.) license required,
- Dispensing License must be available by start date of hire
- Strong clinical experience in diagnostic audiology and hearing aid services
- Confidence working independently in dynamic, non-traditional care environments
- Experience with geriatric and institutional care populations
- Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with VA, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medi-Cal, and private insurance documentation and billing
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
Preferred
- Experience with memory-care patients
- Familiarity with CounselEar EMR
- Experience with Availity, Office Ally, and TPA portals
- Familiarity with Shoebox and NOAH
- Comfortable performing audiograms in patient rooms using portable equipment
