Position Summary
The Audiology Assistant plays an important role in delivering outstanding hearing care by supporting our audiologists and ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities
- Welcome and support patients with kindness and professionalism
- Assist with hearing aid cleanings, troubleshooting, and simple repairs
- Prepare devices and supplies for patient appointments
- Manage patient scheduling, calls, and follow-up communications
- Keep accurate records and update our electronic health system
- Support audiologists during testing and patient care
- Help maintain clinic organization, supplies, and equipment
- Educate patients and their families on hearing aid use and care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or medical office experience preferred
- Warm, approachable personality with excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Comfortable with technology and eager to learn
- A team player who enjoys helping both colleagues and patients
- Prior healthcare or patient care experience is a plus (training provided)
- Hearing Aid, Dental or Vision industry experience is preferred
