Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Front Desk Coordinator to join our team & work in our Oakhurst office. This pivotal role serves as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong time management abilities, and a keen attention to detail. As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing office operations, providing exceptional customer support, and assisting with various administrative tasks.
EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!
Must have a clear, crisp speaking voice & patience with the older population!
Bilingual is a PLUS!
Days & Hours are, Monday thru Friday 9am to 5pm
Pay is $18- $19 per hour
Your daily duties will be, but not limited to:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, manage patient inquiries & confirming appointments
- Check-in patients, verify insurance information and update patient records
- Insurance verifications & eligibility
- 3rd Party Insurance portal usage with various portals.
- Creating invoices, Collect co-pays and process payments.
- Assist with medical records management and ensure confidentiality
- Assisting our provider with daily appointments/papers/insurance info, ect.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk & office
- Checking in hearing aids
- Assist with proofreading documents/paperwork to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask & navigate through several sites/programs.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize workload efficiently.
- Proficient in using office equipment and software; familiarity with phone systems is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse clientele.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Attention to detail is critical for proofreading and administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is extremely helpful
