Outpatient Neurologist EEG & EMG $400K Brooklyn, NY

HealthYes Staffing Network is recruiting a Neurologist for an outpatient-focused opportunity with an established multispecialty medical group in New York City.

The physician will be based primarily in Brooklyn while rotating among multiple practice locations during the week. This is an opportunity to help establish and develop a new Neurology service line with EEG and EMG equipment already available in the offices.

The practice welcomes English-speaking neurologists. Chinese-language proficiency is preferred but not required.

Position Highlights

• $400,000 annual salary plus bonus potential
• Primarily based in Brooklyn
• Rotation among multiple New York City offices
• Full-time schedule of five days per week
• Regular hours of 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
• One weekend day included in the weekly schedule
• Anticipated daily volume of approximately 25–30 patients
• EEG and EMG equipment available in the offices
• Opportunity to build and shape a new Neurology service line
• English-speaking physicians fully considered
• Chinese bilingual ability preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of neurologic conditions
• Manage headaches, seizure disorders, neuropathies, memory disorders, movement disorders, and other general neurological conditions
• Perform and interpret EMG studies
• Interpret EEG studies
• Review diagnostic imaging, laboratory findings, and neurodiagnostic results
• Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans
• Coordinate care with primary-care physicians and other specialists
• Help establish clinical workflows and protocols for the developing Neurology service
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans
• Practice across multiple assigned New York City locations
• Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
• Active New York medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Demonstrated competency in EEG interpretation
• Demonstrated competency in performing and interpreting EMG studies
• Comfortable treating a broad outpatient general-neurology population
• Available to work five days per week, including one weekend day
• Able to rotate among multiple New York City offices
• English proficiency required
• Chinese-language ability preferred but not required
• Strong communication, diagnostic, and patient-care skills

Compensation and Employment Terms

• $400,000 annual salary
• Additional bonus potential
• Final compensation and bonus terms will be based on the employer’s approved compensation structure
