HealthYes is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist for a permanent, hospital-employed opportunity near Memphis, TN. This position offers a $755,000 base salary, additional production-based earning potential, an established gastroenterology team, advanced endoscopy resources, new grads and J-1/ H-1B visa candidates are encouraged to apply.
The hospital currently has two Gastroenterologists who have each been there approximately 25 years. This isn't simply about replacing someone or filling another chair. The system serves approximately 230,000 people, GI access is backed up 6 months, and leadership believes the service can support 4 - 5 Gastroenterologists. So the incoming physician has an opportunity to become part of the next generation of the GI service line as it expands.
The actual practice is also flexible:
1 - 2 clinic days
2 - 3 procedure days
Four endoscopy rooms
Certified GI nursing support
Two inpatient APPs Monday–Friday
Approximately three months to acclimate/ramp despite existing patient demand

Procedurally, there's flexibility too. ERCP is not required. Both existing GIs perform it and are willing to mentor someone who wants to develop the skill. And the hospital doesn't currently offer EUS. If EUS is part of your training or something you'd like to develop, leadership is open to the incoming physician helping bring that capability to the program.

Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency
- Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active Arkansas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Eligibility for applicable medical-staff appointment and clinical privileges
- Strong endoscopic, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an established multidisciplinary program
- ERCP experience is welcomed but not required; mentorship is available
