Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store independently, including setting alarms and securing the building
• Create a welcoming experience for every guest and assist with questions or larger orders
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment — sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing throughout your shift
• Rotate meals between refrigerators and freezers and monitor temperatures to ensure product quality
• Take inventory and send store updates and photos to management

Requirements

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual environment is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transactions and inventory counts
• Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in stocking and merchandising
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in leadership opportunities
• A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting

The hourly pay range for this position is $17.50–$24.00. This represents the good-faith range Healthy Meals Direct believes to be accurate at the time of this posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location, and may vary within this range.
