Medical Assistant/Scribe

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team in a high volume Pediatrics office. The ideal candidate will assist physicians by accurately documenting patient encounters, ensuring comprehensive and precise medical records. The responsibilities include shadowing the physician during patient visits and documenting information in the Electronic Medical Record system as well as helping at the front desk to facilitate the patient flow. Daily task also involves the interaction with the patients to verify their information and collaborating with the physician in recording diagnosis and treatment plan.Great opportunity for someone with an interest in the medical field. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a medical office as the individual will be working directly alongside a Physician and will gain invaluable insight and experience in the patient care process. Experience working in the medical field welcome but not required. Fast typing ability is a must.DutiesAccurately transcribe physician-patient interactions in real-time using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systemsDocument patient history, physical examinations, assessments, and treatment plans with attention to detailAssist with ICD 10 and CPT coding and ensure proper documentation of diagnoses and proceduresCollaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate recording of X-ray results, lab findings, and other diagnostic dataMaintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all timesProvide excellent patient service by facilitating smooth clinical workflows and ensuring timely documentationQualificationsPrior experience or familiarity with clinic/medical office environments preferred but not requiredWillingness to become familiar with medical terminology, anatomy, ICD and CPT coding, and medication administrationExcellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy office settingStrong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patientsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentThis position offers a unique opportunity for aspiring healthcare professionals to develop clinical knowledge while supporting quality patient care through meticulous documentation.
