Entry Level Remediation Technician

Remediation Technician I Our established environmental testing and remediation company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our field crew as a Technician I. This entry-level position provides hands-on experience in environmental testing and remediation procedures under the direct supervision of senior technicians. Responsibilities:· Conduct environmental testing procedures for various contaminants (e.g., asbestos, lead, mold, radon) following established protocols and safety regulations.· Assist senior technicians with collecting and handling environmental samples according to industry standards and ensure proper chain of custody procedures.· Maintain accurate and detailed field notes and documentation as instructed, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and storing them securely on our company OneDrive.· Assist with setting up and calibrating testing equipment under the guidance of senior technicians.· Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting tasks as instructed.· Ensure a clean and safe work environment at project sites according to company protocols.· Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with clients (as needed).· Participate in daily safety briefings and actively adhere to all safety protocols.· Perform mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and water mitigation tasks as part of a team under the supervision of senior technicians.· Be prepared to assist with other environmental remediation and mitigation projects.· Assist manage and maintaining inventory, along with equipment, tools, work vehicle maintenance, and ensuring work stock is well recorded and documented.· To render assistance to senior technicians, project managers, or lead inspectors as needed. Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent required.· Industry certifications are preferred but not required at the time of hire. The right candidate will receive training and may be required to obtain certain certifications within a specified timeframe in order to perform job duties in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.· Prior experience in construction, water mitigation, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, or indoor air quality a plus, but not required.· Strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly, and a commitment to safety.· Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.· Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.Company DescriptionHealthy Home Environmental Services is a professional environmental testing and remediation company dedicated to creating safer, healthier indoor environments for homes and businesses.
