Operations Specialist – Alfalfa Hay Processing
We are seeking an Operations Specialist to support inbound alfalfa hay planning, payment coordination, factory operations follow-up, and external resource management to ensure smooth daily plant operations.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Manage inbound alfalfa hay planning, execution tracking, payment processing, and ledger reconciliation; prior related experience preferred; detail-oriented and organized; forklift certification preferred (where applicable).
- Follow up on plant action items and operational tasks to ensure timely completion and proper reporting.
- Identify and coordinate external contractors, logistics providers, and agricultural service partners as needed; familiarity with the alfalfa hay or forage industry preferred.
- Assist the Operations Manager with external communications, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; capable of handling multiple priorities in a lean team environment.
- Experience in agriculture, forage processing, or operations/administration roles preferred; proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software.
This is an on-site position in an industrial/agricultural environment.
Compensation negotiable based on experience.
