What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Specialist position at Healthworks, Inc.?
The Business Development Specialist will be instrumental in growing our client portfolio by identifying new business opportunities, onboarding new partners, and managing client relationships post-placement. This role works closely with internal staffing and recruiting teams to deliver customized cardiac workforce and education solutions. We are currently in a Hybrid Workplace and report to the Douglassville Office twice a week - Monday and Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and develop new Contract and Direct Hire business opportunities within an assigned territory through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships from initial engagement through ongoing account management.
- Collaborate with internal recruitment and staffing teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Present and position staffing solutions to hiring managers and key decision-makers via in-person and virtual meetings.
- Negotiate pricing structures and contractual terms for staffing engagements.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of B2B sales experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Proven ability to identify and engage decision-makers using tools such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Comfortable with consistent prospecting, outreach, and cold calling.
