Position Overview
As an AI Developer Intern at HealthStream, you will be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge artificial intelligence into our products and services. You will work on high-impact projects ranging from developing AI Platform Services to building full-stack AI prototypes and internal tooling.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of AI Platform Services.
- Build and deploy full-stack AI prototypes and internal tooling to support business needs.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to identify opportunities and develop AI-driven solutions.
- Research, experiment with, and implement emerging Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Machine Learning technologies.
- Translate complex technical concepts and communicate project progress effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Familiarity with (or strong willingness to learn) programming languages and frameworks, specifically Python and React.
- Basic understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Machine Learning concepts.
- Exposure to Version Control Software (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git/GitHub) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
- Introductory knowledge of or interest in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Relevant coursework, personal/academic projects, or foundational knowledge in computer science, software engineering, or data science.
Requirements
- Highly self-sufficient and proactive, with the ability to independently troubleshoot and surface issues when encountered.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.
- High adaptability and eagerness to quickly learn and apply new technologies, tools, and systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly evolving environment.

- Full time 35-40 hours
- The program will run for 10-12 weeks depending on availability
