Position Information
Position Overview
The Director, Non-Acute Credentialing will be responsible for managing a sales team selling HealthStream’s credentialing solutions into the healthcare market. In this role, the Director will be responsible for all managerial responsibilities to ensure optimum performance of the sales team including defining and implementing strategic sales planning, achieving sales goals, forecasting accuracy, analyzing sales data, and meeting with key clients.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
Strategic:
- Develop, implement, and lead specific strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. Cultivate a team culture of trust, comradery, expertise, and accountability to achieve sales goals.
Operational:
- Direct sales forecasting activities (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and set team and individual performance goals.
- Prepare data and analysis of individual sales/team performance and results.
- Meet with sales partners.
- Develop and update territory plans, manage pipeline in CRM system, update plans and pipeline, support sales leadership in strategy formulation, and present plans / pipeline to sales leadership effectively and succinctly.
- Participate in sales committees as needed to help support and achieve the VP’s specific annual goals.
- Participate in product leadership meetings providing customer feedback to further enhance our solution.
Management:
- Direct staffing management to include talent acquisition, successful onboarding & training and performance evaluations to develop and grow an A sales team.
- Plan, schedule and coordinate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual team meetings.
- Travel with staff to meet clients and provide instant sales feedback.
- Ability to identify performance issues of team members and to have difficult conversations as necessary to address.
- Undertake personal and professional development opportunities to include developing and maintaining outstanding product knowledge, building deep expertise in healthcare trends, and continuing to enhance skills and abilities such as communication, presentation, negotiations, and teamwork.
Qualifications:
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in related area
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly develop relationships (internally and externally)
- Team player with customer service orientation and positive attitude
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Minimum 7 years sales experience, preferably within the healthcare industry
- Minimum 3 years healthcare software sales with track record of quota achievement (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years manager experience, preferably within the healthcare industry
- Demonstrated history selling enterprise software solutions to senior level decision makers
- Understanding of credentialing / provider enrollment process is a plus
- Enthusiasm, initiative and ability to operate independently with limited oversight
- Focus on exceeding expectations
- Ability to travel up to 20-30%
Qualifications
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with use of CRM tools (Salesforce)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience presenting to audiences of up to 20 individuals
- Accountability to achieving sales and corporate goals.
- Servant leadership traits required to successfully support, guide, lead, and motivate a team while setting clear expectations and building a positive team spirit.
- Ability to mobilize others to fulfill their vision.

Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $101,100 - $125,000. Salary will be determined on the candidate’s level of experience and qualifications. Compensation will be commensurate with skills, relevant experience, and performance in similar roles.
