Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using ultrasound equipment, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate results. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Duties
- Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients, including but not limited to obstetric/gynecological (Ob/Gyn) studies.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Utilize sonography equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss findings and assist in patient diagnosis.
- Document patient information accurately in medical records, ensuring compliance with medical imaging standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and sonography techniques.
