Ultrasound Technologist - Sonographer
Location: Birmingham, AL (area)

Compensation/Salary: based on experience, $42-$48/hour.

Tier One – 1 to 3 years of experience
Tier Two – 4 to 6 years of experience
Tier Three – 7 years of experience
Moving Package available (up to): $5,000 (paid out over time)

We are an established multi-site imaging company (since 2007) looking to hire a team member that can provide general, vascular, and cardiac testing for our physician's offices.
Tired of working weekends, holidays, and being on-call? Look no further. Limited Travel is required with travel reimbursement. This position requires experience in vascular, general, and echocardiography ultrasounds. We perform ultrasounds in private practice physician clinics.
General: This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday. PTO accrual and holiday paid time off are available for full time employees. Light travel is required within the Birmingham, AL area. Benefits are also available for full time employees including, health, dental, vision, and matching 401K.
Requirements: The candidate must put patient care as their number one priority and treat everyone they encounter with respect and compassion consistently. Must be registered in at least one modality of ultrasound. Two years of experience preferred and be proficient in general, vascular, and echocardiography ultrasounds. Experience with other mobile imaging companies or travel companies is a plus. Must be willing to travel within approximately a two-hour radius. Must be proficient and comfortable scanning and working independently with a radiologist reading the reports and exams that you submit. Must be able to utilize email, fax, PACS system, ultrasound machine, and computer. Must submit all paperwork and images completely and on time daily. Must be willing and able to learn and perform exams to our protocol standards.
