They will also manage HealthRIGHT 360’s clinical database and billing system, including Welligent and any future EHR systems. This role involves reconciling claims and tracking contracts for our DMH/DMC programs. The position is fast-paced and requires meticulous attention to detail.

The EHR Billing Specialist will handle high-volume billing data entry, reconciliation, and submission. Key Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for billing and service submission processes and procedures, including upload, verification, compilation, and posting.
- Coordinate with HR360 fiscal team on related billing matters where appropriate.
- Collaborate with program admissions staff and management on efficient processing of eligibility checks, authorizations, auditing, corrections, and claims submission.
- Regularly review and reconcile claims to prevent aging in accordance with county funding and contractual requirements.
- Complete weekly reconciliation of program and service data between Welligent and county EHR systems to ensure data integrity.
Education, Certification, or Licensure
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification preferred.
- Two years’ experience in the billing department.
- Data entry experience.
- Experience with non-profit behavioral or mental healthcare agency.
- Experience using billing software; Welligent, Epic, Avatar preferred.
- Must complete a background check and livescan.
