What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Pilates Reformer Instructor position at Healthplex Associates, Inc.?
Nationwide wellness company seeking dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated Pilates instructors to join our team. As a Pilates Instructors you’ll be responsible for conducting effective classes as well as informing current members and residents on the benefits of regular exercise. Successful candidates will be able to teach group, reformer and mat classes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must have completed a comprehensive teacher training program
- Experience teaching clients with a wide-range of needs and goals, ranging from pre- and post-surgery, athletic cross-training, chronic conditions/pain, and working around injuries
- Candidate must be comfortable teaching multi-level group classes
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe classroom
- Fostering a welcoming, supportive, and encouraging class environment
- Being present to and accommodating for any modifications, adjustments, cues, or omissions clients may need during their class
QUALIFICATIONS
- Reformer Certification (Required)
- Teaching: 2 years (Preferred)
- Morning Classes (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Late Afternoon and Weekend Availability (Preferred)
- Group fitness: 1 year (Preferred)
